Jose Luis Motta, better known by his friends as
"Pepe", was born in Pergamino, Buenos Aires. All he ever wanted to be was a
musician and more to the point, a pianist.
He lived and breathed the tango
and collaborated with dozens of the genres best known artists. Among other
important activities he served as the artistic and musical director of the
"FIRST LOS ANGELES TANGO FESTIVAL", Los Angeles, California, USA. He was a
guest pianist at the "Valentine's Day" concert dedicated to tango, performed
by the Philharmonic Orchestra of Philadelphia. His musical arrangements for
the show "Tango Buenos Aires", on board Several cruises of the Royal
Caribbean company is still running today.
Pepe Motta gifted us with his world of music and deserved his awards and
enthusiastic critiques. It is no wonder that his reputation still grows as
one of the finest pianists, composers, conductors and music producers in the
world.
